There are many different causes of neck pain. Arthritis/DJD,  herniated discs, muscle spasms, torticollis, and trigger points are a few  of the causes that we can treat. Symptoms from these conditions include: shoulder pain, arm pain, numbness/tingling in arms or fingers, head aches, mid back pain and even sinus pressure. These symptoms can occur even when neck pain is absent.

Drs. White and Jamin have had amazing success with alleviating neck pain in hundreds of their patients.  Using spinal adjustments, computerized testing, disc decompression therapy, x-ray and muscle testing they find and remove the cause of the pain.  They also offer postural exercises, physical therapy modalities, and ergonomic education to ensure that the symptoms never return.  Chiropractic adjustments are a proven method for reducing and eliminating neck pain without the risk and cost of surgery or medications.  Call the number above today for an appointment. What is neck pain and why does it happen?

Neck pain often occurs when your neck muscles spasm.  Neck spasms are involuntary contractions of the muscles in your neck caused by injury to bone, muscle, nerve or spinal discs. The muscles become tight, hard, and painful and make it difficult to turn your head or perform daily tasks.

Neck pain and spasms may occur from malposition of your spine called subluxations.  These subluxations can result from an injury, overuse, poor posture, or stress. For example, it is common for a person doing a lot of computer work to feel his or her neck stiffen. Spasms may even occur from an uncomfortable night's sleep or a long drive.

The muscles in your neck feel hard, tight, and painful. When the muscles that extend from your shoulders to your head go into spasm, the spasms may even cause headaches and pinch nerves. You may have tender spots in your neck, sometimes called trigger points that cause pain elsewhere.

By adjusting your spine a chiropractor removes the subluxation which is the cause of the muscle spasm and neck pain.  Call Drs. Jamin and White for a consultation today!
